Meet The Instructors
Patti Dyment
Living, hiking and painting in the Canadian Rockies for over three decades has given Canmore artist Patti a profound appreciation of, and connection to the mountain landscape. Patti is a popular instructor of painting classes and workshops. She achieved Federation of Canadian Artists signature status in 2011 and has been exhibiting in commercial and public galleries since 1988. She paints en plein air as much as possible.
Lucie Bause
Lucie’s artwork is inspired by patterns, cycles and rhythms in nature on both micro and macro levels. Over the years, she has been involved in numerous group and solo art exhibitions in Canmore, Banff, Calgary and Edmonton. She has received commissions by the Town of Canmore and The Alberta Foundation for the Arts to create several public art works, including paintings, a road mural, and two large-scale interactive sculptures.
