Together and with our community, we will create space for learning, listening, and building stronger relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities.

Îyethka (Stoney Nakoda) Language Discussion and Learning
Learn basic Stoney words and phrases, and gain insight from Terry Rider and Corey Telfer about Indigenous language preservation work being done on the Stoney Nakoda Nation.

Stoney Beading Workshop with Michelle Wesley
Make your own beadwork, while Stoney Nakoda Community Member Michelle Wesley offers you a cultural perspective on beading and regalia making.

Film Screening: WaaPaKE (Tomorrow)
For generations, the suffering of residential school Survivors has radiated outward, impacting Indigenous families and communities. Dr. Jules Arita Koostachin’s deeply personal documentary WaaPaKe (Tomorrow) moves beyond intergenerational trauma, with an invitation to unravel the tangled threads of silence and unite in collective freedom and power.
