We're seeking a volunteer to join our Finance and Audit Committee. This is a meaningful opportunity for a senior finance professional to contribute to Canmore’s community arts centre at an important time for the organization. The role is intended to become Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee following the April 2027 AGM.

artsPlace works with hundreds of artists each year to deliver meaningful arts and culture programming and transformative experiences to Bow Valley residents and visitors. We always look to partner with professional and emerging artists on a variety of projects, whether it's teaching contracts, exhibition opportunities, performing possibilities, or mentorship programs.

Need community service hours to graduate?

We’ve got you covered at artsPlace! We’re always looking for enthusiastic high school students to lend a hand. Earn your required volunteer hours by helping with simple computer tasks, putting up posters around town, organizing arts materials and more!

Gain valuable experience, support the arts, and make a difference in your community!

Kids Camps Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers who are excited to support our instructors during kids camps and to work with children ages 6-12 years.

We host Kids Camps during Family Week, Spring Break, and all summer long! These programs unleash kids' creativity through a variety of art activities. As a volunteer, you will be supported through mentorship and work alongside artsPlace staff members.
