Unleash your creativity in this fun, hands-on workshop where you'll discover the magic of cyanotype printing—one of the earliest photographic processes! Using just sunlight, natural materials, and water, you'll create vibrant, one-of-a-kind botanical prints. In the second session, you'll learn simple bookbinding techniques to transform your beautiful creations into a custom sketchbook or a personalized set of handmade artist cards. Beginners welcome!

Cy Yang-Smith

Cy (they/them) is a visual artist, photographer, and maker currently based in Treaty 7 territory. They hold a Bachelor of Design in Photography (2016) from the Alberta University of the Arts and is the Photography Facilitator at Banff Centre for Arts + Creativity.
