Feature Film: Ceremony

Powerful and evocative, Ceremony examines the disappearance of the ooligan fish in Bella Coola, revealing a buried history deeper than the Bella Coola River itself. For the Nuxalk Nation, the ooligan is more than a source of food — it is medicine, tradition, economy, and a living connection to generations of knowledge carried through land and water. As director Banchi Hanuse follows her community’s search for answers, the mystery of the vanishing fish becomes an exploration of cultural survival, environmental stewardship, and the enduring relationship between people and place.

Feature Film: Derek vs Derek

In the idyllic English countryside lives a dairy farmer named Derek. One day his neighbour, also Derek, forsakes tradition and starts to turn his land over to wild nature, sparking a long-running feud. This film charts the two Derek's turbulent and often funny relationship — as tempers fray, wild animals escape, and the land is transformed.
